State lawmakers to disclose fundraising

Through the legislative session, news media kept tabs on the high-profile business of lawmaking. This Friday, state officeholders and legislators disclose how they fared in the more under-the-radar business of fundraising since the session began in January.

During that period, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo received substantial help pushing through his agenda from the business-funded Committee to Save New York, whose ad campaign fended off union attacks on Cuomo's budget-cut plans. Cuomo and the group also joined forces to support ending the so-called "millionaires' tax." This week, we'll see if members of the well-heeled group also contributed to Cuomo's campaign war chest.-- Yancey Roy
