Protesters in Huntington Station rally for children separated at border

Demonstrators gathered in Huntington Station on Sunday, demanding federal officials make a concerted effort to find the thousands of immigrant children they said are missing after being separated from their families at the southern border with Mexico. Among the roughly 70 Long Island protesters supporting the "Families Belong Together-Where are the Children?" rally was Patricia Okoumou, who’s become a national symbolic figure in opposition of President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance" immigration policy since she climbed the Statue of Liberty last year.
