Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, is planning to attend a fundraiser in the Hamptons Saturday with donors to his former rivals and the head of the GOP, according to a published report.
The fundraiser will be July 9 at the Southampton home of billionaire investor Wilbur Ross, Bloomberg Politics reported, based on a copy of the invitation.
The luncheon will cost $25,000 per person, or $100,000 per couple.
Bloomberg Politics reported those expected to attend are Pepe Fanjul, the sugar baron who backed U.S. Sen Marco Rubio; Duke Buchan III, a Jeb Bush supporter and hedge fund founder; and Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee.
Hosts of the event include longtime Trump supporter Richard LeFrak, a fellow real estate developer, and Jets owner Woody Johnson, a Bush backer who has since endorsed Trump.
Recent disclosures to the Federal Election Commission from the campaigns showed Trump, who self-funded a portion of his primary campaign but has since started raising money, with $1.3 million, compared to $42 million for his rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks declined to confirm the Hamptons fundraiser when contacted last week, but said, “It doesn’t sound inaccurate.”
