73rdHATTIE AND TED RACKETTof Orient were wed June 16, 1940. They celebrated with family. Ted retired as a radio dispatcher with the Southold Town Police Department. Hattie is a homemaker. They have one son.

70thHELEN AND BOB RUBIN, residents of Bristal Assisted Living Community in East Northport, were wed July 24, 1943, by a justice of the peace in Washington, D.C. Bob served in the U.S. Army infantry in the Pacific Theater during World War II. After the war, he returned to his position as an inspector for the Department of Defense. Helen is a retired elementary schoolteacher from the Brentwood school district. They have two children, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

60thMARILYN AND FRED

BEROTTI of Island Park wed June 6, 1953, at St. Hedwig's R.C. Church in Floral Park and honeymooned at Niagara Falls. They celebrated at a surprise party hosted by their five children. Fred is a retired naval chief petty officer, having served in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired as a sheet metal worker with Locals 55 and 28, employed at Marilyn's father's roofing business. Marilyn retired as a bookkeeper for the family roofing business. They have nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

60thMARYANN AND FRANK RYBAK, formerly of Hicksville and now residing in Bethpage, were wed May 3, 1953. They celebrated with a cruise to Antigua. Frank is retired from Local 1298 Laborers Union. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

50thNANCY AND CHESTER

(C-JOHN) TABACCO, residents of North Bellmore for 38 years, were wed July 13, 1963. Nancy was originally from Brooklyn and C-John from the Bronx. C-John is retired from Bell-Atlantic and is a Korean War veteran. Nancy is a retired office manager. They have three children and two grandchildren.

25thLOIS AND RICHARD ARENSof Centerport were wed June 18, 1988, at St. Raphael's Church in East Meadow. They celebrated at a surprise party hosted by their three children and other family members. Lois and Richard were high school sweethearts. Richard enjoys fishing. Lois' hobby is gourmet cooking for the family.
