Suffolk County anniversaries, Nov. 3:

60thDOLORES (DALLO) AND STEVE CELESTE, longtime residents of Bohemia, were wed Oct. 4, 1953. They celebrated with family at The Snapper Inn in Oakdale. Steve is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. The couple are both retired from Eastern Suffolk BOCES in Oakdale. They have two children and three grandchildren.

60thMARJORIE AND GERARD EXIZIANof East Northport were wed Sept. 27, 1953, at Holy Cross Church of Armenia in Manhattan. They celebrated with family on a cruise around Manhattan followed by dinner. Gerard is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He is retired from the aerospace industry. Marjorie retired, after 30 years, from Macy's in Huntington. They had three children, two of whom survive, and four grandchildren.

60thFRANCES AND JOHN HEALYof Copiague, formerly of Richmond Hill, Queens, were wed Oct. 3, 1953, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Richmond Hill. John is a retired New York City firefighter and a New York City teacher in Richmond Hill. Fran is a retired registered nurse at Jamaica Hospital. They have seven children, 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

60thJOAN AND IRVIN HITZLERof Riverhead, formerly of Queens Village, were wed Oct. 17, 1953. They celebrated at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, hosted by their children. Irv is retired from the Air National Guard and production supervisor at Pall Corp. in Port Washington. Joan was an executive secretary at Hertz Corp. in Manhattan. They had six children, four of whom survive, and 13 grandchildren.

50thROZ AND MARTIN BERLINof Melville, formerly of Dix Hills, were wed Nov 3, 1963. Marty retired as vice president of purchasing at Hazeltine / BAE Systems in Greenlawn. Roz was the owner of Ali's Alley, a clothing store in Dix Hills. They celebrated with their two children and three grandchildren at 841 East in Huntington Station. A Mediterranean cruise is planned.
