Suffolk County anniversaries, Sept. 1:

65thLOUISE AND SALVATORE LETTIERIof Suffolk County were wed Aug. 21, 1948, at St. Benedict Joseph Labre Church in Richmond Hill, Queens. They celebrated at a party held at their daughter's home. Louise retired from Suffolk County Department of Social Services. Sal is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the Suffolk County Police Department. They have six children, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

50thPAULA AND SHELDON BROWNof East Northport were wed June 30, 1963, in Brooklyn. They celebrated in Manhattan at the Brasserie restaurant, where they had their engagement party 51 years ago. The celebration continued with a family cruise and tour of Alaska. Sheldon is an engineer at BAE Systems in Greenlawn. Paula is a fine artist, mural painter and art teacher. They have two sons.


INZINNAof Lindenhurst were wed June 1, 1963, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Malverne. They celebrated with a family dinner and later on a family vacation in Montauk. Dick retired from LILCO and enjoys golf, boating and trips to their country home in Sullivan County. Mauveen is a secretary. They have two sons, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.

50thJUDY AND MICHAEL KRUGof Smithtown were wed July 20, 1963. They celebrated with a renewal of vows and a cruise to Bermuda. Michael is semiretired from his electrical contracting business. Judy is a semiretired secretary at the same company. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their daughter and two grandchildren.


VITALEof Patchogue were wed April 28, 1963. They celebrated with a reception at Beach Club Estates in Lake Ronkonkoma with family and friend. Pastor David Knapp gave them a blessing. Ben is retired from the department of geosciences at Stony Brook University. They have three children and four grandchildren.


HASENZAHLof West Islip were wed June 25, 1988, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Islip. They celebrated at dinner with their children. A trip to Hawaii is planned. The couple were high school sweethearts in West Islip. Chris is a self-employed electrician. Cathy works for State Farm Insurance in Brightwaters. They have two sons.
