Bacteria levels shut Ronkonkoma Beach
As a result of high levels of bacteria, Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in Islip has been closed to bathers, according to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.
The Huntington Beach Community Association, Centerport, also remains closed, the department says.
