Southampton Bay constables and U.S. Coast Guard officers responded to a boat run aground in Shinnecock Inlet on Saturday.
The constables rescued seven adults and three children on a 39-foot Sea Ray boat that ran aground about 5 p.m. into Shinnecock Bay, U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Matt Richards said.
Two of the adults suffered serious injuries, he said. No additional information on their conditions was available Saturday night.
Southampton Town police and Sea Tow officers assisted the constables in the rescue, Richards said.
