Three people were sent to the hospital — including the driver — after a car slammed into a home early Saturday morning in Selden, Suffolk County police said.

The 23-year-old driver from Port Jefferson Station was behind the wheel of a 2000 Honda Civic on College Road just south of Middle Country Road when it crashed into the house at 4:52 a.m., a police spokeswoman said. The driver was not identified by police.

The driver and one person inside the house suffered minor injuries from the wreck, the spokeswoman said. Both were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, along with a second person inside the home who required treatment for a medical condition.

The driver was not arrested, police said.
