Chase bank in Ronkonkoma robbed, police say

A man wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark hooded sweatshirt robbed a Chase bank on Monday, April 6, 2015, in Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the suspect entered the bank at 130 Portion Rd. around 4:35 p.m., approached the teller and showed a note demanding money.

The suspect left with cash, authorities said.

He is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and between 20 and 25 years old and clean-shaven.

Police ask that tipsters call to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential.
