Suffolk police said Wednesday they are trying to find a man who stole a donation jar from a Wyandanch business.

The donations were for a boy, 12, who has a life-threatening disability, police said.

Police released photographs of the suspect taken from video surveillance taken Saturday at Wyandanch Beer, 394 Long Island Ave.

The man entered the store and took a donation jar containing about $40 from a counter, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
