Cops seek suspect in barber shop break-in

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County detectives said Thursday they are searching for a suspect in a Terryville barber shop burglary.

Authorities released photographs of the suspect Thursday, taken from video surveillance at the Highway Barbershop at 4577 Nesconset Hwy.

Some time between 6:30 p.m. on July 8 and 7:45 a.m. on July 9 the suspect broke three windows to gain access and then took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
