Cops Who Care to distribute hams and turkeys in Brentwood

Six hundred hams and turkeys will be distributed - free of charge - to families in need this holiday season, handed out by the New York State Police, Suffolk County Police and the Urban League of Long Island.

Held as part of the second annual Cops Who Care food drive, police and volunteers will be handing out the turkeys and hams at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the Suffolk County Police Academy on the Brentwood campus of Suffolk Community College, located at 502 Wicks Rd. in Brentwood.

The hams and turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis - and are limited to one item per family.
