A 23-year-old Miller Place woman, allegedly driving while intoxicated, overturned her convertible about 1 a.m. Saturday while heading eastbound on Canal Road in Coram, Suffolk police said.

The driver, Brittany Morlock and an unidentified female passenger, 24, were taken with minor head and neck injuries to Stony Brook University Hospital after the 2007 Volkswagen overturned in front of 838 Canal Rd., nearly striking the home, authorities said.

Morlock was charged with driving while intoxicated, and her arraignment is pending, police said.
