A woman lost control of her car on the eastbound West Montauk Highway in Copiague early Wednesday morning and crashed into two boats in a marina, police said.

After the boats were struck, they tipped over, damaging other boats. Eight boats were damaged altogether, Suffolk County police said.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the woman will face drunken-driving charges when she is released from Good Samaritan.
