Cops: Woman injured in Lindenhurst DWI crash

A head-on collision on West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst involving a drunken driver on Tuesday night left a West Babylon woman seriously injured, Suffolk police said.

The incident was at about 9 p.m. on West Montauk Highway near South Fourth Street.

Toni Ann Deluca, 37, of West Babylon, who was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. She was listed in stable condition Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of the other vehicle, Anthony Nocera, 29, who was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, was also taken to Good Samaritan for treatment.

He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs or alcohol. He was also stable Wednesday.

Both vehicles were impounded and police are investigating.
