Police late Friday afternoon identified the driver as Patrick Mahoney, 23. His hometown was not immediately available.

Police said the accident occurred about 9:45 p.m. on Route 112 near East Woodside Avenue. Two of the vehicles involved carried only drivers, while the third had a driver and a passenger, police said.
