East Moriches woman reported missing, Suffolk police say

Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman missing from a group home in East Moriches.

The missing woman, Marie Vallanti, 21, does not have the medications she needs for several medical conditions, police said. She speak English and Spanish.

She was last seen at the group home at 3 p.m. Wednesday and was wearing baby-blue jeggings, black and white high-top sneakers and an oversized black sweatshirt with “Sachem” lettering in gold across the front, police said.

Anyone with information about her should call police at 631-852-8752 or 911.
