The Suffolk police homicide squad is investigating the Sunday shooting death of a Wyandanch teenager, detectives said.
Eric Meade, 18, was standing in his front yard on South 26th Street at about 1:20 a.m. with a group of people when he was shot in the head, according to a news release.
Relatives took him to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
