On Tuesday, Brookhaven Fire Department firefighter Peter DiPinto Sr. raced from his home to the nearby scene of a car accident to see if anyone needed help. He found Janice Esposito of Holbrook trapped in her car on the railroad tracks at the Arthur Avenue crossing near Montauk highway in Brookhaven.
