A Holbrook woman has been arrested and charged in an October fatal hit-and-run accident, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Police arrested Felicia Marino, 39, on Dec. 18 in East Islip and charged her with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, a class D felony, police said Tuesday.

Cheri Larrydale, 46, was walking north on Broadway Avenue in Holbrook when she was struck by a westbound vehicle about 12:40 a.m. Oct. 5 as she attempted to cross the multilane highway, police said.

The driver fled, and Larrydale was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Suffolk prosecutors requested $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond. Justice Hernando Camacho set $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. Marino is not currently in custody and is set to appear in court Feb. 4. Neither Marino nor her attorney could be reached for comment.
