Suffolk County police are investigating a four-vehicle crash on Nicolls Road in Centereach Wednesday morning that injured two people.

A car and a truck traveling north on Nicolls at about 7:51 a.m. were involved in a collision with two vehicles heading south on the same roadway, a police spokeswoman said.

Two people were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries, the spokeswoman said.

She did not immediately have other details and said circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
