A 19-year-old woman was seriously injured after crashing her Jeep into a sign and a tree early Friday along Route 25A in East Shoreham, police said.

She lost control of the 1988 Jeep while traveling west at 1:18 a.m., police said.

She was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said, adding they had no information Friday night about her condition.

Route 25A was closed between Randall Road and Miller Avenue for the crash investigation and reopened at 5:25 a.m. Friday, a Suffolk County police spokeswoman said.
