Jericho Turnpike in Commack reopens after pedestrian struck by car, police say

Eastbound Jericho Turnpike near Commack Road in Commack has reopened after police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and injured Thursday morning.

The pedestrian's injuries were not serious, Suffolk County police said.

The incident was reported in a 911 call at 11:10 a.m.

Police said other details were still emerging.
