Suffolk police are looking for John Kearns, who was last seen Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at the Bayview Rest Home, an assisted living facility in Babylon. Suffolk County police said they are looking for a man who was last seen Wednesday at the Babylon assisted-living facility where he lives.

John Kearns, 54, has been missing from the Bayview Rest Home, 143 E. Main St., since 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Kearns was last seen by staff members, dressed in a green shirt and tan shorts; police said he has a "mental disability which severely impairs his ability to communicate with others."

Kearns is white, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with brown eyes and is balding.

Anyone with information is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or 911.
