A 3-year-old girl suffered a head injury when her mother drove high on drugs and crashed Sunday in Water Mill, Southampton Town police said Monday.

Kasey J. Cosgrove's daughter was taken to Southampton Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

Cosgrove, 35, of Noyac Path in Water Mill, was driving a Honda on Noyac Path when she struck a Mini Cooper just before 2 p.m., police said.

She was arraigned Monday on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child 15 years or younger, also known as Leandra's Law, driving while ability impaired by drugs, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and operating with a suspended registration.

She was held with bail set at $53,000, police said.

Other details in the crash were not immediately available Monday evening. It was not clear if the Mini was occupied, parked or on the road.
