A Brooklyn man was seriously injured Thursday when his motorcycle collided with a car in Huntington, Suffolk County police said.
Lee Owens, 33, dislocated a shoulder and had severe lacerations to his left leg after the accident on New York and Prime avenues at about 9 p.m.
Police said Owens was taken to a nearby hospital, where he also is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Quincy Nelson, 17, of Huntington Station, was driving a 2005 Chrysler 300 south on New York Avenue when he made a left turn onto Prime Avenue and his car collided with Owens' 1974 Honda motorcycle, police said.
