Service on the Ronkonkoma branch has been restored, after it was suspended between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma when "an unauthorized person . . . was struck by a train in Wyandanch," according to a Long Island Rail Road email alert.
After striking the person on the tracks, the 12:14 p.m. train from Penn Station, due in Ronkonkoma at 1:37 p.m., was being delayed at the Wyandanch Station, the LIRR said on its website.
