Police seek man in theft of scratch-off lottery tickets from Centereach gas station

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Friday they are looking for a man who stole more than $200 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from a Centereach gas station this week.

Police released photographs of the suspect, taken from video surveillance at BP Gas, 2092 Middle Country Rd., on Oct. 12.

The man entered the station at about 7 p.m., asked for $225 worth of tickets, and then took off without paying for them, police said.
