Nassau police search for three who robbed Lakeview man in his home

Nassau police are searching for three suspects who, they say, robbed a man at gunpoint in his Lakeview home on Saturday night.

Fourth Squad detectives said a 24-year-old man was leaving his Lakeview home around 9:25 p.m. Saturday when he was approached by three men wearing black and white bandannas covering their faces.

One suspect pointed a black revolver at the man's head and forced him back into his home while demanding money, police said. Once inside the home, the man was held at knifepoint by one of the suspects, while the other two ransacked the bedrooms, taking jewelry, an iPhone 5, an Xbox, clothing, sneakers and cash, police said.

One suspect was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with a thin build, and was seen wearing a baseball hat, navy blue hooded sweatshirt, maroon jogging pants and white work gloves, and was armed with a black revolver. Another suspect was described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 165 pounds, and was wearing a white Polo T-shirt, blue jogging pants with a white and orange stripe and brown aviator sunglasses, and had a tattoo of wings on his left wrist. A third suspect is described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 160 pounds and was wearing a black T-shirt and maroon jogging pants.
