A Mastic woman was killed in a Manorville crash after the car in which she was riding crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle, Suffolk County police said.

Erin Okula, 20, was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Okula was a passenger in a 2003 Honda being driven by Ryan Bratter, 20, of Manorville, about 10 p.m., police said in a news release.

Bratter was driving west Sunday night on Clancy Road, police said, when he apparently lost control of the car and crossed into the eastbound lane, striking a 2003 Mercury, driven by Kevin Marschhauser.

Bratter was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center and is listed in serious condition, police said. Marschhauser, 22, of Manorville, was taken to Brookhaven where he was treated and released.

Police had no updated information on the nature of the injuries to Bratter and Marschhauser. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said, and the investigation is continuing.
