Police: 2 men used fake $100 bill in Patchogue bar

The fake $100 bill was used to make a purchase at a pub in Patchogue, police said. Now, Suffolk County cops are asking for your help in finding the men who passed the bad bill.

The incident occurred at Fulton's Gate Pub on East Main Street on April 2 about 11 p.m. Police said the two men were seen getting out of a gray or silver 2004 Acura MDX with a gold New York State plate before the incident.

One suspect was described as 5-foot-8 and wearing a baseball cap; the other, about 5-foot-10 to 6-foot with facial hair and dreadlocks.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
