Police charge Bay Shore man on Sagtikos with DWI

A Bay Shore man was arrested early Thursday on suspicion of drunken driving after a car was spotted moving erratically on the Sagtikos Parkway, State Police said.
Joseph Aji, 51, was driving a 1997 Ford van on the parkway in Islip when he was stopped, police said. Believing him to be intoxicated, police arrested Aji and transported him to the Brentwood station.
A breath analyzer recorded Aji's blood alcohol content at .17 percent, police said.
Ali was scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip Thursday morning.
