Arson Squad detectives are investigating an early morning car fire in North Lindenhurst that Suffolk County police said appears to be suspicious.

A 911 caller reported the fire, which engulfed a 2007 Mercedes parked in front of a home on 47th Street, at 2:01 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

No one was in the car, police said, and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known. No arrests have been made.
