Three masked men pistol-whipped three victims at a home in East Patchogue, tied them up, burglarized the place, and hours later one of the men was believed captured on a surveillance camera attempting to use a stolen credit card, police said.
Suffolk County police are looking for information on the trio who committed the Dec. 29 break-in on Washington Avenue in East Patchogue.
Police said the three burglars stole $500, a laptop computer and other items. They pistol-whipped three of the four people inside the house, tied up all four and fled in a dark vehicle, police said.
A black 2005 or 2006 Honda Accord was also seen on surveillance footage, the same type of car seen leaving the site of the home invasion.
In the footage from one of the stores - taken after the robbery - a woman was seen, along with a man, believed to be one of the three, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
