Man sought in theft, fraudulent use of credit card, police say

Suffolk County police and Quogue Village police say this man is a suspect in the use of a stolen credit card. The picture is from a surveillance video, police said.
A man suspected of using a stolen credit card to make purchases at a gas station and home improvement stores was captured on video surveillance, police said Tuesday.
Suffolk County police and Quogue Village police said the credit card, as well as a stereo, were stolen from a Ford F250 on Quogue Plaza Trail sometime between Nov. 20 and 21.
A man then used the stolen card at a Valero gas station on County Road 51 in Eastport, as well as at a Home Depot store on Farber Drive in Bellport and a Lowe's on Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, police said. Surveillance video also showed that the suspect was driving a white pickup with colored lights underneath, according to police.
Now, Suffolk police and the Quogue Village police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
All calls will remain confidential -- and callers are eligible for a cash reward.
