Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Sixth Precinct Crime Section are looking for a man who stole a bottle of liquor from a Miller Place shop in September, police said Friday.

On Sept. 18, a man entered Siliato Liquors at 327 Rte. 25A and placed a bottle from the shop near an exit. He then proceeded to buy a different bottle, and when he left he took the one he had placed near the exit without paying for it, police said.

Police also Friday released a photograph of the suspect taken from video surveillance at the store.

Police also said the suspect appeared to drive away in an older model red Isuzu Rodeo.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
