Suffolk authorities are looking for the person responsible for spray-painting "pictures and / or words" on trash containers, fences and exterior doors and walls of businesses in the Huntington area during the past year.

The word "Task" was painted in white on a building in each of the vandalism incidents, which took place from Oct. 24 to July 3, police said.

Video surveillance cameras show a man walking onto the property in one location where graffiti was found, police said in a news release.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
