Silver Alert issued for Patchogue man, 70, police say

Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 70-year-old Patchogue man missing since the weekend.

Police issued a Silver Alert in an attempt to find Lawrence Miller, who was last seen at the Gables Adult Home on Rider Avenue on Saturday at about 1 p.m.

He was wearing a blue plaid shirt, bluejeans and sneakers. He is described as a white male with a graying full head of hair. He stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Miller has schizophrenia and does not have his medication.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or call 911.
