Police track stolen car to woman's home

A Cutchogue woman inadvertently led police to her after they said she stole a car equipped with a tracking device and drove it home, Southold Town police said.

Carrie McCabe, 38, was arrested and charged with first-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, police said. She also was charged with second-degree burglary after police found stolen property in her possession also belonging to the person whose car was taken, according to officials.
