Two Massapequa women were hurt when their car crashed into a house in North Amityville early Friday, Suffolk County police said.

The driver, 56, and her passenger, 57, were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries after the crash on Matthew Drive at about 5:15 a.m., a police spokeswoman said.

Authorities told police there was structural damage to the house but that its residents -- two adults and a teen -- were not injured.

The driver was headed east on Joyce Avenue when she lost control of her 2007 Toyota sedan and hit the house on Matthew Drive, police said.

No tickets were issued.
