Route 112 in Coram reopens after driver hurt in crash, police say

A woman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries in a multivehicle crash Friday morning in Coram, police said.

The 6:54 a.m. crash closed Route 112 in both directions between Pine Road and Wedgewood Drive, Suffolk County police said. The road was reopened at 10:23 a.m.

Police said the woman was driving a Hyundai Sonata when she collided with a box truck on Route 112. The box truck then collided with a tanker truck, police said.

Neither of the other drivers was injured.

No charges were filed.
