Southampton Town police have issued a Silver Alert for a bipolar man who went missing in January and may be in need of medication.

Authorities said Roger Makowski, 60, was last seen Jan. 13 at the Budget Host Inn in Riverside. Police said he is homeless.

Police described Makowski as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and short, cropped gray beard, police said. He may be driving a 2018 white Subaru Forester, police said.

Anyone with information about Makowski is asked to call Southhampton Town police at 631-702-2230 or dial 911.

The Silver Alert program allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
