South Huntington accident injures 2, officials say

Two people were transported to Huntington Hospital after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in South Huntington, fire officials said.

Their conditions were not known.

A spokesman for the Huntington Manor and Melville fire departments said the crash occurred at the intersection of Wolf Hill Road and Old Country Road at about 7 a.m.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department, Melville Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad all responded, along with Suffolk County police.

The two drivers were transported by Melville Rescue Squad and Huntington Community ambulances, spokesman Steve Silverman said.

Police said there was no criminality suspected.
