BERNADETTE AND FRANK CALDERONE of North Babylon celebrated Nov. 28 with a blessing by the Rev. Gil Lap at Our Lady of Grace Church in West Babylon followed by a party with family and friends at Domenico's restaurant in Levittown. The couple have been enjoying retirement for 16 years. They have three children, eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
PEGGY AND JOE DISSLER of Huntington celebrated Nov. 28 with a family dinner at Meehan's restaurant in Huntington. They met in Astoria, Queens, where they both grew up. Joe worked for many years in Manhattan as a project manager in the mechanical engineering field. Peggy is a homemaker. They have four children and 10 grandchildren.
FRAN AND FRED FREWERT of South Huntington celebrated Oct. 17. Their children surprised them with a trip to Key West, Fla., where they stayed at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon. Fred is a retired truck driver. Fran is a homemaker. They have three children and one grandchild.
BETTY AND JOE SCHNEIDER of Yaphank celebrated Nov. 22 with a family weekend in Pennsylvania hosted by their four children, their spouses and six grandchildren. They enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the Historic Revere Tavern in Paradise, Pa. Joe is a retired director of data processing from Suffolk County government. Betty is retired from Lourdes Industries in Hauppauge.
DONNA AND JOE CARLUCCIO of Medford celebrated Nov. 22 with a trip to New England, a gift from their two daughters. They met as teenagers growing up in Astoria, Queens. Joe retired from the New York City Fire Department after 29 years. Donna retired as a special education aide after 21 years with the Patchogue-Medford school district. A vacation to Disney World in Florida is planned. They have three grandchildren.
COLEEN AND JOSEPH DISANTI of Shirley were married July 19, 1969. They celebrated with family at The Breakers Resort in West Palm Beach, Fla. The couple were high school sweethearts and have been inseparable ever since. They have three children.
