Suffolk County police set vehicle auction for June 17

Want a Cadillac or a Corvette? Or maybe just a Civic, a Corolla, a Cherokee or a Caravan?

The Suffolk County police department has all of those — and many more — available for purchase at its next vehicle auction, scheduled for Saturday, June 17, at the police impound facility at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton.

Cars, sport utility vehicles and even a recreational vehicle will all be up for sale at the auction. A complete list of auction vehicles is available at the police website.

Buyers can preview those available vehicles in person on June 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — and starting at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

No motorcycles will be available at this auction.

All interested participants must register during the preview hours — or on the day of the auction.

Auction rules can also be found on the police website.
