Suffolk police are looking for a female bank robber who stole cash from a Huntington Station bank Thursday afternoon.

Police said a woman wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses entered the Citibank at 300 Walt Whitman Road at 12:13 p.m. and showed a bank teller a note demanding cash, and threatening that she had a gun.

The teller gave the woman cash from the drawer, and the robber fled north, police said.

She was described as being 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, with dark hair and a thin build.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
