A suspect entered the storage cooler at East End Clambakes last month and stole $400 worth of crab and lobster, police said.

Now, detectives are hoping you know something about the burglary — and call Crime Stoppers.

The incident occurred at the seafood business on County Road 39 on July 20, Southampton Town police said. Suffolk County police have released a surveillance photo taken at the scene. It shows the suspect, face partially covered and wearing glasses. Police could not say what time the burglary occurred — or whether any forensic evidence was recovered from the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case.
