An unshaven man robbed a bank in East Farmingdale Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.

He ordered a teller at the TD Bank branch, 2025 Broad Hollow Rd., to give him money about 12:15 p.m., then ran north through a parking lot with the money, police said.

He is described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall and between ages 35 and 40, police said. He wore a light-colored T-shirt and a red baseball cap, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
