A Medford truck driver pleaded not guilty Wednesday to an indictment charging him with killing an East Patchogue woman while driving on drugs.

Justin Klein, 23, is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, second-degree manslaughter and drug possession. He is accused of running a red light in East Patchogue in April and killing Camille Ricciardo, 71. State Supreme Court Justice Fernando Camacho ordered Klein held on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota said in a statement that Klein had heroin when he was arrested.

Klein was driving south on Sills Road when he ran the light at Gazzola Drive in East Patchogue, authorities said.

Klein is represented by the Legal Aid Society, whose policy is to not comment on cases or clients.
